The Audience Insights Specialist will be a key member of the Reuters Data and Analytics teams and reports to the Director of Audience Platforms and Insights. This candidate will manage all aspects of Reuters audience insight and audience growth initiatives across platforms, globally.
Responsibilities include understanding and analyzing user behavior/trends, audience composition and engagement to gain a 360-degree understanding of the Reuters customer, across all touchpoints. This role will leverage available technology, datasets and partnerships to support business KPIs.
The candidate will work across product, editorial, and sales teams to distribute actionable audience insights & analysis to drive growth. Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following metro locations: Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $81,600 - $151,600. The base compensation range in other locations may vary. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.

About The Role
As an Audience Insight Specialist, you will:
- Oversee and develop internal reporting requirements and iteratively build prototype dashboards to provide comprehensive audience breakdowns for internal teams
- Collaborate with other teams to synthesize dashboards, reports, processes to drive efficiency and success within the team
- Clearly position and articulate the Reuters Professional audience, advertising strategy, and our position in the market by partnering with Sales, Marketing and Product teams to develop a holistic understanding of Reuters Professional reach, scale and overall offering
- Provide support within Data and Marketing to create effective materials to drive sales and assess current state of proposal / request procedures and continually recommend and implement improvements
- Provide sales and marketing with product and insight support for the creation and maintenance of marketing collateral
- Provide and aggregate data from multiple sources for developing business strategies and to help identify opportunities in the sales process
To be our Audience Insight Analyst, you will likely have:
- 2-3 years of experience working with audience analytics / sales engineering / operations experience in a high-growth, fast paced environment
- Expertise in website analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Adobe Analytics, Pendo, etc.
- Ability to properly interpret audience insights and trends to translate into report iterations & trend graphs
- Experience working with a sales organization by collaborating cross functionally and knowledgeably communicating company information and stats
- Excellent PowerPoint & Excel skills
- Experience working with DMP
- Prior experience in news, media or advertising a plus
- Capable of managing multiple projects within a deadline-driven environment
- Thought leadership and creativity in solving challenging, and potentially ambiguous, business problems
