TRC’s client is a leader in healthcare technology looking for a Controller to join their growing team on a full-time, direct hire basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the financial operations and accurate reporting, including managing month-end processes for multi-state financials, reviewing accruals and ensuring their accuracy and correctness, analyzing trends and anomalies against prior reporting, and forecasting.
Coordinate the submission of covenants to senior debt leaders, ensuring compliance with financial agreements.
Ensure robust balance sheet reconciliations are performed in a timely manner, maintaining the integrity of financial statements.
Implement and enhance financial controls surrounding high-volume activities, such as credit cards and authorization documents, to mitigate risks.
Drive automation initiatives to streamline financial processes and reduce the time to close financial each month.
Model and account for reimbursement rate changes and corresponding pay rate adjustments, ensuring go-forward viability of the company.
Manage and lead a small team of Accountants and Financial Analysts.
Lead financial integration of newly acquired companies and resources.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; CPA highly preferred
7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis
Prior supervisory experience with strong leadership skills
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial principles, with experience in multi-state financial reporting and acquisitions
Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulae, with quick keying abilities
Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in collaborative team-based environments across departments
