Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ETL development.
Develop and maintain data mappings, workflows, and scripts to support data integration and transformation.
Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL processes and data integration.
Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data quality and integrity.
Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and data integration workflows.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in ETL and data integration technologies.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in designing and developing ETL processes using ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, Microsoft SSIS, or similar.
Strong knowledge of data integration and ETL concepts, including data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
Experience with data modeling and data warehousing principles.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data quality and accuracy.
Preferred Skills
Experience with big data technologies and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
Knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting).
Experience with cloud-based data integration services (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory).
Certification in ETL or data integration technologies is a plus.
