Location: Remote (Full-time) - Preference for candidates located in Miami, Florida.

We're a development team specializing in building ecommerce apps, themes, and enterprise sites for Shopify. With a team of 100 employees spread across North America and Europe, our innovative work has earned us recognition, including Shopify’s Commerce Award for UX and front-end development. Our portfolio includes flagship ecommerce brands such as Versed skincare, OUAI, and momofuku. Our themes are some of the most popular in the Theme Store, powering tens of thousands of stores globally.

Job Overview:

As the Head of Operations at Presidio, you will take on a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day activities. This is the first time we are hiring for this role, so we need someone who can wear many hats, hit the ground running without much oversight, and thrive in a remote work environment. You will be instrumental in supporting our growth, enhancing our operational efficiency, and taking tasks off the founders plate.

Responsibilities:

• Operational Oversight: Oversee the daily operations of the company, ensuring efficiency and productivity across all departments.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
• Internal Project Coordination: Ensure timely delivery of projects by coordinating with different teams and managing resources effectively.
• Budget Management: Oversee budgeting and resource allocation to ensure optimal use of company resources.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the company meets its operational goals.
• HR Support: Assist with HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee development.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement strategic plans to support the company's growth.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in an operations management role, preferably in the tech or management consulting industry.
• Self-motivated: Eager to take-on projects and get them across the finish line with limited oversight from management.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and workflows.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask.
• Tech Savvy: Familiarity with ecommerce platforms, specifically Shopify, and a strong understanding of tech operations.

Remote Work: Comfortable working in a remote environment with minimal supervision.

Location: Preference for candidates located in Miami, Florida. We're exploring opening an office in Miami so a willingness for hybrid work is ideal.

Salary:

$90-125k USD
