Sunbound is seeking a full-stack software engineer to join its team and aid with the development of its core product. This is one of the early engineering positions at Sunbound, and will carry a lot of opportunities to work closely with the CTO and shape company direction and culture.

As a full-stack software engineer, you will…
Help make foundational architectural and engineering design decisions
Be responsible for product architecture and implementation
Collaborate cross-functionality on product ideation and direction
Provide input into how offline processes can best be implemented in product
Skills and Qualifications
BA or BS (or Master’s) in Computer Science or related technical discipline
2-4 years of experience in software development
Experience at fintech companies a major plus
Experience building software solutions incorporating disparate aspects of complex business processes
Proficiency in full-stack web development
Proficiency with React
Proficiency with Node.js or other back end frameworks like Rails or Flask
Clear communication verbally and in writing with non-technical stakeholders
Location
Individual can work out of our New York City or Washington DC offices. For the right candidate we can consider a fully remote position
