Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Managing Editor at Ingram's Magazine located in Kansas City, MO. The Managing Editor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the editorial department, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality content, managing a team of writers and editors, coordinating with external contributors, and maintaining the magazine's editorial standards.
Qualifications
Strong writing and editing skills
Experience in managing a team of writers and editors
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of AP style and other editorial standards
Familiarity with the Kansas City business landscape
Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects
Proficiency in digital media and content management systems
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field
Prior experience in business journalism or magazine publishing is a plus
