I've been collaborating with the System Initiative team the last couple weeks on an exciting project: managing the Rocky Linux MirrorManager (https://lnkd.in/eYzie848). This service handles hundreds of millions of requests monthly, providing geo-local mirrors to Rocky users worldwide. We'll be managing the entire lifecycle of MirrorManager with SI including compute, load balancing, CDN (Fastly), and integrating with Ansible for configuration management. System Init is a *highly* compelling tool. If you've ever felt like Terraform, CDK, Pulumi, etc., are missing something, check out SI.

2wSome of these mirrors have incredibly poor bandwidth (for example for me here in Egypt, if i use a geo-local mirror download speed could drop to ~40 Kbps, and when i switch to the default URL it goes up to 20 Mbps) Thought I'd bring that to your attention.
