Watch Jen Keep a Secret in this ‘Dead to Me’ Sneak Preview - Netflix Tudum
- Judging by this clip, it’s very possible!Nov. 15, 2022
When Dead to Me returns for its third and final season on Nov. 17, we might get some closure on the saga of the friendship between unlikely pals Jen (Christina Applegate) and Judy (Linda Cardellini). Unlikely, that is, because Judy accidentally killed Jen’s husband, and Jen accidentally killed Judy’s ex, and is now dating his twin brother. Typical bestie stuff! So yeah, you might say that there’s a lot of balls in the air. Lotta secrets, lotta stuff going on under the surface. And speaking of stuff going on beneath the surface… Tudum has a sneak peek of Season 3 that hints at where the BFFs’ stories will go next.
Ben Wood (James Marsden) is taking a look at the clogged pipes in sometime-girlfriend Jen’s bathroom when he discovers the real reason her plumbing isn’t running smoothly: “There’s, like, a huge hole in one of the pipes. Totally corroded, like something just burned right through it.”

Hmm. Could it be that last season Jen filled the tub with acid in a test to figure out the best way to dispose of a body? And that she wasn’t trying to dispose of just any body — it was the body of Ben's twin brother, Steve? It’s a classic relationship hiccup, really: You’ve accidentally destroyed your pipes while dissolving a dead rat in an attempt to cover up the fact that you accidentally killed your now-partner’s twin. Who hasn’t, right? … Right?
Watch the clip above, and tune in for Dead to Me’s final season on Nov. 17.
