Donald Trump Begins Attacking Kamala Harris: 'She's So Pathetic'

A clip has emerged of Donald Trump attacking Vice President Kamala Harris as "pathetic" while speculating Joe Biden will drop out of the 2024 election.

The footage, obtained by The Daily Beast, shows Trump on a golf course, saying that Biden is quitting the race in the wake of the president's poor debate performance on June 27, adding "and that means we have Kamala."

Harris is considered among the front-runners to replace Biden if he ends his reelection campaign, which the president and his team have denied he intends on doing.

In the footage, Trump says that Harris would be better than Biden, whom he describes as an "old, broken-down pile of crap," before also attacking the vice president. "She's so bad. She's so pathetic," Trump adds. "She's just so f****** bad." Newsweek has contacted Harris' office for comment via email.

Trump then goes back to attacking Biden. "Can you imagine that guy dealing with Putin? And the president of China—who's a fierce person. He's a fierce man, very tough guy.

"But they just announced he's probably quitting," Trump adds before driving away in a golf buggy. It is unclear precisely when the clip of the former president at the golf course was filmed.

Harris is still backing Biden in the race in the wake of his poor debate performance.

"Look, Joe Biden is our nominee. We beat Trump once, and we're going to beat him again," Harris told CBS News on Tuesday. The remarks were in response to Texas Representative Lloyd Doggett becoming the first Democratic lawmaker to publicly call on Biden to end his 2024 campaign.

The National Republican Congressional Committee [NRCC] also launched an attack ad against Harris on Wednesday amid the prospect of her taking over from Biden as the Democrat's 2024 nominee.

"House Republicans are sharpening our knives if extreme House Democrats dump Joe Biden—or we will remind voters Kamala Harris is next in line if they don't," the NRCC posted on X, formerly Twitter, while sharing the ad.

The ad accuses Harris of being an architect of the southern border crisis, as well as mocking her at-times rambling public comments and repeated use of her catchphrase, "I can imagine what can be and be unburdened by what has been."

It was reported on Wednesday that Biden had been discussing with his inner circle the probability of ending his reelection bid. White House Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates dismissed the claims as "absolutely false" on X.

In a statement defending Harris, Biden's campaign team said: "No, Donald. What is bad is taking away women's rights, what is bad is losing an election and encouraging a violent mob to attack the Capitol, what is bad is assaulting women, what is bad is not paying your taxes, what is bad is rooting for our economy to fail."

Trump's campaign team also issued a statement on Wednesday attacking the "total collapse" of the Democratic Party and "Cackling Co-pilot" Harris.

"Every Democrat who is calling on Crooked Joe Biden to quit was once a supporter of Biden and his failed policies that lead to extreme inflation, an open border, and chaos at home and abroad," Trump campaign advisers Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles said.

"Make no mistake that Democrats, the mainstream media, and the swamp colluded to hide the truth from the American public—Joe Biden is weak, failed, dishonest, and not fit for the White House. Every one of them has lied about Joe Biden's cognitive state and supported his disastrous policies over the past four years, especially Cackling Co-pilot Kamala Harris.

"President Trump will beat any Democrat on November 5th because he has a proven record and an agenda to Make America Great Again."
