Comedian Nikki Glaser Has Been to an Absolutely Staggering Number of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour Shows — And She's Going to More

Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek's network of contributors

Whenever comedian Nikki Glaser has a day off from her own tour, she's jetting off somewhere to see Taylor Swift on the singer's Eras Tour.

"I was on break from tour and I was seeing Taylor Swift. That's what I do with my free time. I was following Taylor around Europe," Glaser shared on the Thursday, July 11, episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live where fellow comedian Kumail Nanjiani was filling in for the host.

"Europe just happened to be there while she was there," quipped Glaser, who saw five Eras shows in 10 days while across the pond.

"When I have weekends off from my own tour, I fly to go see her," Glaser explained, comparing herself to "a divorced dad doing his best to see his daughter."

Glaser — like countless Swifties all over the world — is "addicted" to the Eras Tour, she divulged, adding that she gets a "surge of dopamine that [she] can't describe" during the shows.

In fact, Glaser has been to "17 shows in 15 months" — and, told Nanjiani, never once took a bathroom break at any of the concerts. (Swift, as fans know, plays for roughly 3.5 hours every night with a setlist of 46 songs.)

"For me it's either that or cocaine and luckily I can afford both," Glaser cracked.

While she initially said that Swift "has no idea who I am," Glaser quickly acknowledged that the 14-time Grammy winner may have heard of her before. (Glaser went viral earlier this year after her much talked-about jokes at Tom Brady's Netflix roast.)

"I know it's excessive, and i just don't really know how to explain it other than when the tour was announced i was like i want to go to every show," she said.

Glaser noted that she's seen 60 hours' worth of the Eras Tour — and she's not done yet. "I'm gonna go to more," she told Nanjiani.
