Kim Kardashian Videos in India Go Viral Before Anant Ambani Wedding

A video of Kim Kardashian arriving in India before Anant Ambani, son of Indian billionaire industrialist Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant's wedding has gone viral online.

The festivities for the loved-up couple are currently underway at their Mumbai residence. The wedding is scheduled for July 12, with the ceremony set to take place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex.

The wedding is expected to see many well-known celebrities and politicians attend, with Kardashian being one of the many celebrities invited to the illustrious event—and her arrival in India has caused quite a commotion.

Newsweek emailed a spokesperson for Kardashian for comment on Friday.

A video has been uploaded to X, formerly Twitter, by the Asian News International of Kardashian leaving Mumbai airport and being swarmed by photographers. Not only is she being filmed as she leaves the airport, but people can be seen swarming her car and filming her while she's sitting inside.

"U.S. TV personality Kim Kardashian arrives in Mumbai for the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant," the caption of the post reads. At the time of writing, the video had been viewed 164,400 times.

The reality star also uploaded a video to her Instagram story of what it was like being in the car while she was being hounded.

In the clip, the photographers can be seen sitting on the hood of the car while they film and photograph Kardashian with their professional cameras and phone cameras. Her security guard—who is sitting alongside the driver in the front passenger seat—can be heard telling the driver to "keep going" as they attempt to drive away.

A different video uploaded to her story shows Kardashian being gifted flowers upon her arrival in India; another shows her, Khloe Kardashian and hairstylist Chris Appleton being photographed by paparazzi.

If the wedding is anything like Ambani and Merchant's various pre-wedding events, it will definitely be a lavish affair.

The family has been throwing extravagant parties since March, and this four-day wedding extravaganza in Mumbai is the last one. Key roads in the city are closed off at various points of the day until the celebrations conclude on Monday.
