Who are the Crossbow Killer's Victims? Tributes for BBC Host's Dead Family

Tributes are pouring in for the wife and two daughters of a BBC host after they were killed by a man with a crossbow near London on Tuesday.

Kyle Clifford, 26, was taken into custody on Wednesday after an hours-long manhunt. He is accused of killing the three victims in a "targeted" attack in Hertfordshire. Officials believe he was known to the victims.

The victims were 61-year-old Carol Hunt, 28-year-old Hannah Hunt and 25-year-old Louise Hunt, BBC reported. Carol Hunt was the wife of BBC Five Live racing commentator John Hunt. The two had three children together, Hannah Hunt, Louise Hunt and another daughter.

Heidi Dawson, controller of the BBC radio station, said the news is "utterly devastating" in a note to staff.

"Our thoughts are with John and his family at this incredibly difficult time and we will provide him with all the support we can," Dawson said.

Fellow horse racing broadcaster Matt Chapman said he had "no words" on X following the tragedy.

"Impossible to comprehend the pain. Just know we are all here for you John. We love you pal - racing loves you," Chapman said.

Julie Harrington, Chief Executive at the British Horseracing Authority, called the incident "shocking and tragic" in a statement posted to X.

"It is impossible to comprehend the horror that has been inflicted upon them by this dreadful event," Harrington said. "John is a great friend to many in our sport and I am sure that in this time of unimaginable grief for him, the racing family will rally around as we have seen many times before when one of our number is faced with great trauma."

Hannah Hunt ran a beauty business called Hannah Grace Cosmetics and was a skin therapist at The Anti Ageing Clinic in Radlett.

"It is with deep regret and sadness of the horrific murder on Tuesday night of our skin therapist Hannah," the clinic wrote on Facebook. "She was a fantastic therapist and clients loved her. We send our condolences and prayers to her Dad, sister and family. She was very much a part of our team."

The killings remain under investigation.

"Our enquires will continue over the coming days to ascertain the full circumstances of what happened," Detective Superintendent Rob Hall from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit said in a statement.

Anyone with information, photos or videos related to the murders is being asked to submit them to the police's information portal.
