Suraj Srinivasan, ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER
Newsweek advisory board member Suraj Srinivasan is the Philip J. Stomberg Professor of Business Administration and Head of the Accounting and Management Unit at Harvard Business School, and the Chair of the schools executive programs for corporate boards of directors. He is also the chair of Digital Value Lab at Harvard's Digital, Data and Design Institute and also a board member and chair of the audit and risk committee of Harvard Business Publishing, a global media and publishing business. He also serves on the Harvard University Information Security Risk Oversight Board. He is qualified to serve as an audit committee financial expert.
Dr. Srinivasan is a respected thought leader in the areas of business strategy, finance, data science, and corporate governance and has published over 125 research papers, articles, and business case studies on these topics. He frequently advises CEOs and boards of directors in companies globally on strategy and corporate governance issues and consults with a wide range of organizations. He has also written for the Wall Street Journal and the Harvard Business Review and is regularly cited in prominent media outlets. He serves on the editorial boards of major management journals. His teaching has been recognized with the Apgar Award for Innovation in Teaching at HBS.
Prior to his academic career, Dr. Srinivasan worked in investment banking and founded and ran a chain of supermarkets and pharmacies in India. He has a doctorate in business administration from Harvard Business School. Prior to that he completed his MBA form IIM Calcutta and a MS in Physics and BS in Engineering from BITS, Pilani in India.
