After his childhood buddy is murdered while visiting Detroit, rebellious cop Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) follows the leads to Beverly Hills, Calif., under the auspices of a vacation. He checks in with old friend Jenny Summers (Lisa Eilbacher) and starts to believe her boss, art dealer Victor Maitland (Steven Berkoff), might somehow be involved in the murder. However, Lt. Bogomil (Ronny Cox) of the Beverly Hills Police Department does not trust Foley, and hinders his search for evidence.

This is comedy action crime cop movie is really good and ageless and this is movie introduced me to Eddie Murphy and reason it does age cause still has those jokes, nice to see how it was in the ‘80s and can u see why he was perfect flawed character and crazy laugh that he best know for and wish heard on the 4th one but still you can see why the three click and why this movie so good with the music, the clothes and action scenes and you can see that in those days was pretty interesting and very cool in there own way. One last thing you can tell why this movie set up lot of cops movies now with there plot and writing and originality from this and that compare to others it doesn’t come close but at least they try. All in all definitely recommend and give a A+👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
