What to Know

Critics Consensus

This Adam Sandler vehicle borrows shamelessly from It's A Wonderful Life and Back To The Future, and fails to produce the necessary laughs that would forgive such imitation.

Namrata Joshi Outlook The concept never really takes off on screen. Moreover, the only way such presumably uplifting cinema can work is if one feels in some ways for the characters and situations. Jan 17, 2019 Full Review David Ansen Newsweek As a moral fable Click holds no surprises; as a Sandler comedy, it's unusually dark, occasionally touching and pretty funny. Mar 14, 2018 Full Review Anna Smith Film4 As a broad family comedy this is perfectly acceptable, but from a sci-fi point of view it's a very pale imitation of the time travel classics it seeks to ape. Rated: 2.5/5 May 30, 2008 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com Despite all its inherent flaws and challenges, what can I say? It clicks. Rated: 3.0/4.0 Sep 5, 2020 Full Review Carey-Ann Pawsey Orca Sound The film has its moments where it attempts to teach us about priorities and what should be important in our lives. Rated: 3/5 Jul 13, 2020 Full Review Mark Jackson Epoch Times A remote-control gizmo allows Adam Sandler to skip all of life's bad stuff and blows the whistle on current culture's instant-gratification laziness. It'll teach your kids to learn to take the bad with the good. Rated: 3/5 May 17, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Melissa C ‘Click’ has the nostalgic (and often questionable) lowbrow charm of most of Sandler’s comedies, and many of the jokes didn’t age well. That said, it’s an enjoyable watch with a unique plot and an unexpectedly prescient and powerful message. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/09/24 Full Review Lucas R Pelicula toda pitera vamos a verla otra vez Contexto, mi amigo se llevo ala qje me gusta y ahora con esta peli toda pitera me volvieron las ganas de verla otravez. 9/10 obra de culta Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/20/24 Full Review Laze T I enjoyed it... thats really it, was not bad at all Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/18/24 Full Review Brian H I’ve loved this movie since I was a kid because every time I watch it it’s like I’m watching it for the first time and still making me laugh and cry. Not only but it’s still the only movie where it reminds me of what’s important. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/14/24 Full Review Ansel S I genuinely really enjoyed this movie, and while yes it does borrow several concepts from different movies but it uses that as a vessel for the comedy, and I have yet to cry from a movie like I did when watching this movie for the first time five years ago. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/14/24 Full Review Eduarda O Não é ridículo que um filme desse cara seja tão bom? Olha essa mensagem sobre aproveitar o momento. Ainda mais nessa era dos apressadinhos, onde os áudios são 2X e os vídeos de trinta segundos. Porra. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/13/24 Full Review Read all reviews
