Mark Kermode Observer (UK) For anyone wishing to tickle the tummy-buns of a Double Bacon Cheespider, there's a menagerie of colourful mutants to distract your attention from the absence of anything more substantial. Rated: 3/5 Oct 28, 2013 Full Review Tara Brady Irish Times The original Cloudy didn't have the warmth of Despicable Me or the snark of Shrek. But it did have more humour than this new film. Rated: 3/5 Oct 25, 2013 Full Review Scott Nye Battleship Pretension Cody Cameron and Kris Pearn (working from a script by John Francis Daley, Jonathan Goldstein, and Erica Rivinoja) have expanded on it nicely, crafting a film that feels like the natural successor to the original without simply rehashing its story. Michael W This movie sequel was pretty good. Bill Hader, Anna Faris, James Caan, Will Forte, Terry Crews, Neil Patrick Harris, Andy Samberg, and the rest of the cast did a pretty good job on this movie. The story of the movie was a little entertaining and humorous. It's about preventing your mentor from destroying your creation. If you haven't seen this movie yet, you may enjoy it. I didn't like as much as I thought, but it wasn't bad. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/24/24 Full Review Emmett B It gave me explosive poop for 7 hours straight Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/14/24 Full Review Null I usually see people say that the first one is better, but I must disagree wholeheartedly. The story on this one is an amazing continuation, and gives us someone who is truly a villain; and I'm a sucker for a hood Villain. Chester V. Is one of my favorite parts of this movie, and seeing him make Flint choose between his friends, and "saving the world" is very interesting. Flint thinks he's choosing the right thing, following his idol, but not seeing the bigger picture that Sam and the rest of the group try and warn him about. This movie is probably my favorite from my childhood, and I urge anyone who hasn't seen it to do so. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/06/24 Full Review Idan Charles L It's fine but weaker than the first Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/27/24 Full Review Michael B Okay so the foods puns were hilarious; the only redeeming quality here; as Cloudy 1 is one of my favorite animated movies ever made (yes even considering Pixar lol) but to me this cheap and forced direct-to-video-feel sequel is not even in the same universe as the first. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/23/24 Full Review Winter B not as good as the first one but still a banger Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
