Tyler B a BEAUTIFUL telling of the story of Diana, her legacy and a stark reminder that frankly our lives can be cut short at any moment, so we need to make ourselves better people to have the same impact of the late Diana. It truly serves as an inspiration for me to set an example to lead. I haven't even touched on the technical wonders that this show pulled off. And yes, while some argue it's "cheesy", I'd say it's just plainly witty and funny humor. I have to wonder how much lagging COVID-19 audiences prevented this musical from catching on to audience success in NYC. Similar to "Spencer," the critics seem to have an absolute resistance to depicting Diana as utterly human and flawed. Comparable to JFK, her early death has allowed a mythology to grow around Diana. From the intense choreography to the catchy music Diana is worth watching. It takes the audience through the life of Princess Diana while remaining true to the historical context. It is so crazy to watch this musical in 2023 now that Camilla is now the Queen.
