Catey Sullivan Chicago Reader It's no masterpiece, but this Easter horror film is a surprisingly fun and campy bloodbath. Mar 30, 2024 Full Review Bee Delores B-Sides & Badlands Easter Bloody Easter lives somewhere between Attack of the Killer Donuts and Winnie the Pooh: Bloody & Honey. A two-and-a-half-star rating doesn’t necessarily indicate a poorly made movie. In fact, it’s a hoot and a half packed with music. Rated: 3/5 Jul 2, 2024 Full Review Justina Walford AWFJ.org All the ingredients for a fun time are here. The gore is so cheap, it adds to the laughs. I grabbed my popcorn and yelled at the screen for an hour and a half, telling characters how to survive the killer bunnies! Apr 24, 2024 Full Review Louisa Moore Screen Zealots Blending Southern-fried stereotypes with low-budget horror charm, this goofball of a holiday movie and its bargain basement absurdity has the makings of a corny cult classic. Apr 8, 2024 Full Review Sarah Vincent Sarah G Vincent Views “Easter Bloody Easter” is what you would get if no one on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” had powers, the demons did not start turning up until high school was a faded memory, and the hellmouth was underneath Texas’ version of Stars Hollow Apr 1, 2024 Full Review Hope Madden The Screening Room Podcast The ensemble cast, led by Grant’s strong comic timing, is all in on the gags, and the moments when fuzzy bunnies turn into maneaters are frequently hilarious. Thom G The campy style of Easter Bloody Easter is entertaining (though it doesn't offer anything particularly innovative or exceptional). The setting, characters, and situations are amusing. But the entire middle part of the movie feels unnecessary and meanders without a clear or interesting direction. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/05/24 Full Review Heather V Scary? No. Entertaining? Yes. And boy does it know it. This horror comedy will satisfy anyone who enjoys a little campy chaos. Between the blood, the bunnies, and the big laughs that this movie offers, there's plenty for viewers to enjoy. Go give it a watch! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/11/24 Full Review Ricky L A really fun slasher-esque movie that could easily be an easter tradition for anyone that loves fun movies such as this one. The movie knows exactly what it is and really leans into its irreverence. Give it a watch if you want to sit back and have a good time with many laughs to boot. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/17/24 Full Review Gregory N This movie was a mix of dry humor and edgy comedy. Loved it. They took a holiday that is usually nice and polite and added some spice. I would watch again!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/11/24 Full Review Gina P This Is the exact kind of mindless entertainment you need when your brain is overloaded with stress! A little bit of cheesy corn ball, mixed with gore, and mystery. There are unexpected twist and turns through out that kept me engaged, and wondering what could possibly happen next?? Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/11/24 Full Review Diana L If you love a campy romp with demon bunnies and larger than life Texans, then you will have a blast with this film.
