K. Austin Collins The Ringer The central irony of Finding Dory is that Dory is a risk-taker trapped in a movie that, for all its likability, won't join her on whimsical leaps. Aug 10, 2017 Full Review Matthew Rozsa Salon.com Who would have thought one of the deepest films ever made about learning disabilities would star a talking blue fish? Rated: 3.5/4 Aug 3, 2017 Full Review Sara Michelle Fetters MovieFreak.com Much like its titular character, it keeps swimming, and in doing so teaches all of us life lessons that we likely already knew yet still could use to revisit all the same. Rated: 3.5/4 Aug 9, 2016 Full Review Brendan Cassidy InSession Film With Finding Dory, at least that glass stays mostly full of heart and humor, and that's enough to just keep swimming... Rated: B+ Jun 18, 2024 Full Review Mihir Fadnavis Firstpost Finding Dory does feel like a small step down from the studio, but only because they set the standard so high. Marco S Can't live up to the original. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/10/24 Full Review Dale R When Dory remembers her family, she goes on an adventure to find them. Creating a sequel where the comic relief character is now the main protagonist is a difficult venture. But this movie works. The voice acting, especially from Ellen DeGeneres, is fantastic. The animation is also wonderful. The story gets a little too far into the ridiculous in the last act, but is solid otherwise. I don’t find this movie to be rewatchable, but I do think it is worth checking out. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/07/24 Full Review Michael W This animated sequel was great. Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks, Ed O'Neill, Andrew Stanton, Hayden Rolence, Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy, and the rest of the cast did a great job on this movie. The story of the movie was entertaining and humorous. It's about going on another adventure and finding your family. If you haven't seen this movie yet, check it out sometime. It's a great movie for an entire family. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/30/24 Full Review Daniel S Super cool travel through an unknown world - very entertaining. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/30/24 Full Review Lenny H One of the best ever Pixar movies despite that dumb, unessacery seen with a giant squid. I was crying only 5 mins into the movie. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/25/24 Full Review Jack N Not as good as Finding Nemo, and pretty forgettable. It’s alright though. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/23/24 Full Review Read all reviews
