This is such an inspiring story of Geoff, an artist who has a built an amazing career with patience and without compromise. Beautifully told by Director Dan Covert….also even more proof that all great things come from skateboarding. Haha.

An absolute eyeopening film about life balance, leaving you pondering a change in your approach and outlook on every day life. For a documentary, I was surprised by the pace it was able to provide, never teetering, dragging or losing my interest, visually and narratively. The film's pace of story accompanied by it's edit, clever interstitials, and moving music was constructed ever so elegantly.

This was a very well made movie but we felt it wasn’t interesting for those not in the art scene. We were hoping for more focus on the way his art influenced brands and the movie/product world. We did hang in there for an hour so we gave it a solid try.

While my interest in Geoff's artwork drew me to the film, the storyline of an individual finding balance as they progress from the passions of their youth through their professional carrier had me hooked. The color palette, animations, and titles all connect to the visual world Geoff creates, showing Dan Covert's ability to capture his subject in a way that feels autobiographical. Both Geoff and Dan craft a great film that helps us consider what is important, how we can make decisions that support our priorities, and enjoy the arch of life from the dawn of adulthood into middle age.
