Rumsey Taylor Not Coming to a Theater Near You Biollante would not appear in any other film in the Godzilla franchise, perhaps for practical reasons (she's inherently more ephemeral than other kaiju monsters), but she's among the series' most idiosyncratic nemeses. May 22, 2019 Full Review Witney Seibold Nerdist Godzilla vs. Biollante is a new generation of Godzilla filmmakers trying to figure things out. They don't know exactly what tone to strike yet, so they're trying out various things. Some of it works, most of it doesn't. Justin T This is a direct sequel to the previous film which was a re-sequel in my opinion. Anyway it has a pretty slow start with total nonsense science. The new kaiju is totally awesome, really next level in terms of cool. But also a little gross, not that I minded. There is some great city-destruction, some cheesy music and overall pretty similar to the previous film. I thought it could have done with more of Biollante to make it more awesome. I mean this really does have two great monsters and great monster action and the most ridiculous imaginary science yet, they just kept inventing more and more ridiculous things throughout the film. So it was very entertaining. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/23/24 Full Review josh d One of the best Heisei era Godzilla movies. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/09/24 Full Review Chanr3y k Another Great roster for the Heisei era, the movies suit designs have vastly improved from it's prequel and it has some great Human Characters aswell, along with some really creative plots and ideas. not only that, this movie sets the standard for the rest of the heisei era, by having reoccurring characters, unlike the showa era which just had one off characters. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/15/24 Full Review Irelia I a very great godzilla film lol Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/03/24 Full Review Spike G A awsome new goji film Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/06/24 Full Review Daniel C. M The best Godzilla movie from before the modern era excluding the original, and my favorite movie of all time. This movie has EVERYTHING that makes Godzilla, well, Godzilla and the Kaiju genre. Actually good human plot, millitary superweapon and a (not-so) surreal chemical solution to everything, Godzilla destroys a city solo, Awesome new Kaiju, Kaiju fights, the whole movie by itself being a metaphor for the folly of man (Go-Go-Godzilla!) like a good Godzilla movie should be, and still managing to be fun. Absolutly must see! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/14/24 Full Review Read all reviews
