Alec C We all need a bit of levity, especially during war time! Adrian Cronauer is sent to Vietnam to bring some much needed optimism to the soldiers over the air, only for his irreverent take in the war itself to rub some of his superiors the wrong way, in which they try to silence them. Funny with its source material yet realistic in its portrayal of the cost of combat, this is one of Robin Williams most iconic films that is not mentioned more then it should!
