Trafalgar L The story of one bride and two grooms. Jack Singer (Nicolas Cage) is a commitment phobic detective madly in love with his girlfriend Betsy Nolan (Sarah Jessica Parker), but due to a promise made to his mother on her deathbed he is unable to truly make her happy. One night Jack throws caution to the wind and decides to marry her in Las Vegas, but when wealthy mobster Tommy Korman (James Can) notices that Betsy bears a striking resemblance to his late wife Donna he hatches a scheme. Using a poker game to con Jack and make him owe $65,000. Tommy however will forgive the debt if Jack lets him spend time with Betsy. But, he must act fast before Tommy snatches her away for good. Loaded with an Elvis heavy soundtrack, this is a pretty funny screwball comedy that has everything you'd expect and unexpect. I wish I could turn back time and tell myself to not watch this movie. If I could give it -5 stars I would.
