Even with a simple plot, Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle is so flat-out hysterical that it’s a complete joy to watch. The film embraces the silly concept of being sucked into a video game, but never insults the audience’s intelligence.

I never get tired of seeing this movie. A real tonic to a tired brain lacking in imagination and humour. The cast are brilliant and the Ruby Roundhouse fight sequence is hilarious with the gorgeous Karen Gillan. A must see with the sequel following closely behind. If you walk along a beach listen out for those drums !!

Nothing about this movie feels wrong to me, and shouldn't feel wrong to any other viewer. It's over-the-top visual effects, humor, performances, and action make this film an awesome continuation of the small Jumanji franchise, creating a path for new and modern characters while keeping the accuracies of the original film's canon along with it.

A big improvement over the original though not without its own flaws, "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" is a wildly entertaining ride with a great cast that makes the most out of the absurdly enjoyable premise, even if the film does often feel extremely familiar.
