dave j Written and produced by R. Ellis Frazier "The Line" as the movie is called is another slang for the borderline between the US and Mexico, Afghan diplomats volunteer to bring illegal drugs across the border without questioned. Centers mostly on 2 people of hired shooter Mark Shields (Ray Liotta also credited as executive producer) who has a substance abuse problem as well as suffers from insomnia as a result of a past, and a drug cartel, René Pelon (Esai Morales) appointed by a cartel relative who is said to be dying, Javier Salazar (Andy Garcia). Twists and revelations. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie was brilliant in many areas but overall, i'm left impressed but unfulfilled and somewhat confused. Be empathic with this film and you will enjoy it, this film requires the viewer not through brilliance to make up the dots. So many people just didn't get this film, and I understand why. It was not as well explained as it should have been and that was a great shame as this film had the potential to be brilliant. With Liotta, Garcia, and Cruz it had a brilliant concept and ingredients of a major movie. The twist at the end, I could understand why it could happen and I appreciate that it could have happened. A brilliant tactic of playing weak to let the player show their hands. Overall it got the 3 stars because unlike much that I watch on Netflix there were sparks of brilliance in this film. Bad for those involved as this surely had the potential to be a memorable one. Think 'Man on Fire' , however, lazy yet engaging on the journey to an unfulfilled brilliant twisted final. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member not much happens but good all the same Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member a better name would be bad pissing contest. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Malgré un gros casting, ça se regarde mais c'est un peu mou. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Slow, boring and then its seems like they ran out of time towards the end and just rushed it on a shoestring budget... silly ending, Shame as it had a decent enough cast.
