HR G Dame Margaret Rutherford is THE antithesis of Marple in the books but for some reason this works and is amazing. I love this series of movies. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/18/24 Full Review Audience Member "They [the police] have their methods; we have ours". Absolutely brilliant. Terrific casting and great script. Dame Margaret Rutherford on top form. How to make tweeness irristable Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review joe m Second film with Margaret Rutherford as Miss Marple, "Murder at the Gallop" has less murder-suspense and more comedic elements than "Murder, She Said", which of course Rutherford excels as but detracts from the overall story. Still enjoyable and worth catching. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Hilarious and charming Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Frances H Such a cute murder mystery movie! I love all of the Margaret Rutherford Miss Marple movies, but this is one of my favorites. With Dame Flora Robson and Robert Morley, who I just loved! What a lot of fun! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/27/20 Full Review Audience Member Much better than the first Marple movie. That one drags, whereas this one is light and fun and simple. And Rutherford seems much more comfortable in the role. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews
