Joe Pollack St. Louis Post-Dispatch As recent variations of an age-old movie genre go, it is fairly good, but somehow you hope for more from Steve Martin and John Candy. Apr 20, 2022 Full Review Duane Byrge Hollywood Reporter Mainstream audiences should readily identify with the series of tribulations and woes that befall the Everyman Martin in this good-natured, albeit predictable comedy. Nov 29, 2018 Full Review Marc Lee Daily Telegraph (UK) Planes,Trains and Automobiles is a very funny film. Rated: 4/5 Dec 24, 2013 Full Review Kevin Carr Fat Guys at the Movies The quintessential mix of Thanksgiving anxiety, Steve Martin and John Candy antics, and John Hughes’ irreverent comedy. Rated: 3.5/4 Nov 23, 2023 Full Review Douglas Davidson Elements of Madness Frankly, if you’re a fan of this film, the deleted/extended scenes plus the lovely video restoration/remaster may be enough to warrant buying it immediately. Nov 22, 2022 Full Review Rene Jordan El Nuevo Herald (Miami) Where disaster after disaster can become tiring, they continue reinventing themselves up to an unexpected ending where, after so much laughter one ends up on the brink of tears. Chris One of the funniest movies of the decade. A heartwarming comedy that will have you rolling with one big punch line after the next. Few comedies from the time have aged as well or remained as memorable. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review J I really enjoyed the whole movie , it was a blast from the past .😊 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/08/22 Full Review Mike Great movie to watch to begin the holiday season. A classic. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/08/22 Full Review Devlin It was great seeing a classic on the big screen and the deleted scenes intro was very nice! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/07/22 Full Review John Loved the movie. But if you’re going to do the 12 minutes of never before seen footage, don’t do it at the beginning of the movie. I took my son who had never seen the movie before and it kind of ruined a part of it. Show the lost footage at the end of the movie👍🏻 Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 11/07/22 Full Review Eugene One of our all time favorites! Thanks for bringing it back to the big screen Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/06/22 Full Review Read all reviews
