Dale R Starring Nicolas Cage as a corrupt Atlantic City police officer who must solve a murder of the U.S. Defense Secretary. Gary Sinise plays a Navy officer and friend to Cage’s character. As usual, these two deliver a great performance. There is also some great cinematography in this movie, with point of view shots, over the head shots, and some really long take shots at the beginning of the movie. The plot does drag on a bit. As Cage’s character starts to figure things out I thought the end was near, but that just started the third act. There is some great stuff here, but I think that the enjoyment of the movie would be limited to those who can appreciate the cinematography and hang on to the plot until the end.
