Todd Gilchrist Variety Less a celebration of the U.S. Navy’s Mavericks than its Top Guns, the film focuses on several pilots as they learn the difficult choreography and rigorous standards maintained by the squadron. Rated: 2/4 May 17, 2024 Full Review Matt Zoller Seitz RogerEbert.com The movie is an ad for The Blue Angels, the Navy, planes, the military generally, and an iconography-based sense of patriotism. Rated: 2.5/4 May 17, 2024 Full Review James Preston Poole But Why Tho? A Geek Community Due to the inability to dig deeper here, it resembles a commercial that never ends ... Cara V Wow! I have been going to see the Blues since I was four years old in the 1970's and watched them transition to the Hornet in '87. Now, to see them from the angles and frame-by-frame shots captured in this IMAX format are absolutely stunning! Tagging along for a season of training and shows feels like you are shadowing the pilots and gives a look inside the unique life of a Blue Angel pilot. Thank you for this and I look forward to the additional ideas that Greg "Boss" Wooldridge mentioned he has to be presented in film that parallel this and honor the dedication and sacrifice of our pilots and service members! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/22/24 Full Review Google It was a terrific movie. Made me proud of my country and its military. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/22/24 Full Review Mark L Very informative and educational documentary style movie. The Blue Angels was a great "day in the life" movie, developing the back stories on each individual member of the flight team, their families and the support crew. The history of the Navy precision flying program was also very interesting. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/22/24 Full Review Geo The documentary was great, the 30 minutes of advertising and trailers prior almost sucked the joy out of the experience. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/22/24 Full Review Nathan Wilson Great movie!!!! Just goes to show you how hard the Blue Angels work!!!! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/22/24 Full Review Sean Nothing short of amazing! Thank you for showing the dedication, strength and courage of the Blue Angel team!!!!!!
