please do not do a flashback of a scene that I already saw moments ago. A quick flash to remind us of what happened earlier is fine, but rewatching the entire scene feels repetitive and monotonous. It is not as if the scene was that good the first time

There is a beautiful story hidden behind the turmoil and wickedness. Tom holland does an amazing job portraying a protagonist amongst irony. Similar to his father, he seeks justice. Although him and his father show many similarities he portrays a very vital protagonist in this movie. I believe if you are attentive while watching you’ll understand the message. Lots of foreshadowing and irony which I love! The movie could have been a little more unpredictable.

Those who have the wrong idea of who God is and those who use God for their wicked and selfish aims are all headed to destruction. A sad and tragic film in almost every part of its story, based on the novel by Donald Ray Pollock, it shows the tragedy of false religion, made more heartbreaking by excellent performances of the cast, including Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson.
