Lucas t Pretty good movie, seen this in year 6 few years ago. 6.5/10. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/27/24 Full Review Nathan W I rarely do this, but I'm tacking on an extra half star for sheer difficulty of production. Because a movie made up almost entirely of children must have been a living nightmare to film! (Getting usable takes with so many relatively unskilled and inattentive subjects is commendable). I used to love this movie as a kid, but for the life of me I can't understand why. I don't really see much plot wise that a child would find humor in. There were a few instances of comedic material that would have gone over younger audience's heads, but not nearly enough to make this enjoyable for the adults who also had to sit through it. I will say that it was fairly true to the original subject matter. The kids all looked like who they were playing and there was minimal adult interference with goings on. The acting was hit or miss as you might expect. Some of the kids were a few years older and clearly more skilled than the rest. The dialogue and deliveries honestly could have been worse. (It was both adorable and amusing to hear young boys already griping about girls and life). There were some big name cameos here and there but not enough to make a real difference. I don't want to nit pick too hard because it is a cute little movie that was made with good intentions. But its a movie for kids starring kids, and it plays about as interesting as it sounds. I normally enjoy a nice hit of nostalgia, but I would have been fine leaving these memories in the past. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/29/24 Full Review Amy T This movie is one of the most comedic and heartfelt movie. It had laughs and tears definitely would recommend to anyone who appreciates the classiness of movies. Absolutely LOVED it will show to my future kids over and over again!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/27/24 Full Review TV Shows, Movies a I personally really enjoyed the movie and do not understand the bad reviews. It is a fun film. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/13/24 Full Review Brianna B Not as good as I remember from childhood Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/24 Full Review Roel J Love this movie. It's so charming and the child acting is on point. it's on my top 5 without a doubt. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews
