Greg Gilman TheWrap The plot is scripted by writer-director Julio DePietro and there are some actors in on the joke, but the moments with other voters and nearly every candidate at rallies across the country are real. And very funny. Nov 2, 2016 Full Review Read all reviews

jeff t Hilarious and awesome!! Absolute genius comedy. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member After the political fatigue of last year, I don't see this being a movie people really come back to a lot. After the results have come in, it seems a little more tragic than funny. It is a shame, because it is a pretty fun little movie. It's a mockumentary about two undecided voters following the campaign trail and eventually making their decision. Despite their distinct lack of intelligence, they are actually a pretty relatable pair, and the heavy satire that pervades through the whole movie is extremely familiar to the actual experiences of many voters. It's got an indie film quality to it that's very charming, and points being addressed are valid, so it works. It's not a laugh riot, but if you're trying to find some comedy in the tragedy of the 2016 election, it's worth a look. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member What starts as a fun idea ends up wearing thin. C Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Very funny. Makes you think about how the media portrays the election. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I hadn't even heard of this film, but tried it on a whim as it sounded interesting and I like the actor Aasif Mandvi. Basically, it's about 2 undecided voters, who are trying to choose a candidate to support. It's in a mockumentaryy style, like "Borat" where the actors attend real rallies in character and completely disrupt them, and it's hilarious. I really enjoyed this little gem and if you have any interest in this U.S. election, you should give it a try! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review John T Amazing what these two guys did shooting footage with the real candidates at actual campaign events - the media covered many of their "disturbances." They creatively weaved a story line for the movie while manipulating everyone around them. The two main actors remain as true to their characters during the scripted scenes as to the improvised meetings with the candidates. Amazing and fun to watch what they did.
