Pablo O. Scholz Clarín Vanished into the Night forges its own path and is already among the most viewed on the platform. Unlike his protagonist, it owes nothing to anyone. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 3/4 Aug 7, 2024 Full Review Petr Navovy Pajiba Vanished Into the Night has big ‘Dubious Food’ vibes. You won’t get food poisoning, but you’ll also get basically nothing out of it. Jul 25, 2024 Full Review M.N. Miller InSession Film Vanished Into the Night is one of the more mediocre thrillers you will ever see. The plot is paper-thin, and the script is as shallow as the Trevi Fountain. Too bad no one made a wish to make a more competent film experience. Rated: D+ Jul 15, 2024 Full Review Sarah Musnicky But Why Tho? A Geek Community Vanished Into The Night does indeed vanish amidst a sea of more capable and more gripping crime thriller fare. Rated: 5/10 Jul 13, 2024 Full Review John Serba Decider Nobody’s reinventing any wheels with Vanished Into the Night, but for a lickety-split distraction of a popcorn thriller, you could do far worse. Jul 12, 2024 Full Review Daniel Hart Ready Steady Cut Vanished Into the Night has zero re-watch potential, but Renato De Maria has created a decent one-play feature. Sam A Loved this! Exciting throughout, nice twist too Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/02/24 Full Review Audience Member It actually held my interest until he got back from his “mission”. Then it got stupid. Average at best. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 07/22/24 Full Review Daniel S First, they make an effort to create a mysterious thriller. The first half of the film is a laborious attempt to maintain the mystery. In the second half, they obviously lost interest. The twist comes much too early, and from then on, the movies dies painfully. The film simply doesn't do what Gone Girl did well. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 07/21/24 Full Review Audience Member The movie is one of the worst a ever seen. I lost 1 and half hour of my life. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/21/24 Full Review Gabriel S Svaniti Nella Notte, or Vanished Into the Night, is a weak thriller that tries hard to be clever, but ends up shallow and uninteresting. The story follows Pietro, a father going through a difficult divorce, and with at debt with gamblers, that lost his children to kidnappers. To get them back, he has to pay the ransom. A simplistic plot that just does not work. The story lacks throwing interesting ideas, and even most of the movie is idleness and boringness. Then the midpoint throws a curveball: the kids are actually a-okay at their mother Elena's house. They know nothing about whatever happened, dismissing Pietro's inquiries as if he going insane. Elena herself has no recollection of them ever going with Pietro to his house in the first place. Such curveball could have been a great plot twist, but fret not, the story quickly overturns its own twist with another oversimplistic fact that explains what the hell is going on. The last events are about Pietro trying to get out of the mess he is in and acting revenge. Vanished Into the Night is below-average, at best. Though Riccardo Scamarcio's acting is up to standards, the stale storyline and non-sense twist is too much to bare. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/20/24 Full Review Breeda K Horrendous film. Implausible, plotless and pointless. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/19/24 Full Review Read all reviews
