Seeking solace from his dark past, Logan (Hugh Jackman), better known as Wolverine, seems to have found love and contentment with Kayla Silverfox (Lynn Collins). Logan's peaceful existence is shattered when Victor Creed (Liev Schreiber), his vicious brother, brutally murders Kayla. Logan's thirst for revenge propels him into the Weapon X program, where he undergoes a painful procedure to bond his bones with adamantium, making him virtually indestructible and more than a match for Victor.

This movie was fine right up until the point in which Deadpool is unveiled. But, that was the kind of mistake that makes you go back in hind sight and completely nit-pick every little issue that you were previously prepared to overlook up to that point. And make no mistake, that is what every single negative review here is all about. Hopefully, as the MCU begins its treatment of the mutant universe of characters, they look back on this mistake and others like it, and recognize that the one thing that is just unforgivable for super hero fans is for a film maker to mess up a popular character.

I enjoy Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, but this wasn’t as exciting as the previous three movies. It was cool to see new characters like Gambit, but with such little screen time, I felt like those characters didn’t get fleshed out. Also this version of Deadpool definitely fell flat. Decent movie overall.
