Christy Lemire FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) A treatise on viral fame and the good and the bade sides of that. Oct 8, 2019 Full Review Sara Michelle Fetters MovieFreak.com Nichols knew how to hold my attention, Wrinkles the Clown a celebration of petrifying delights that had my guts twisted into unbreakable knots. Rated: 2.5/4 Oct 7, 2019 Full Review Nick Schager The Daily Beast Comedic elements [are] key to the film, which soon delivers a twis that casts its entire portrait in a different light, causing viewers to reassess not only what they've just seen, but also their assumptions about cinematic and internet truth circa 2019. Oct 4, 2019 Full Review Peter Martin ScreenAnarchy It's skillfully put together, and interesting from a sociological perspective. The film also provides a welcome balance to this month's cheerful devotion to frights in general. Jul 23, 2021 Full Review Emma Wolfe SpookyAstronauts I felt like the film had a lot of interesting twists and turns and has a fantastic second portion which I cannot reveal. Rated: 8/10 Oct 14, 2020 Full Review Jack Bottomley Starburst A timely documentary about modern folklore, coulrophobia's origin, viral influence and the dark side of child psychology... Kyle M Not horrific as it sounds nor as it looks as it basically explains a phenomenon amid revising imagery and folklore conceptualizing with expected viewpoints mostly checked off, but the bloated documentary values in unveiling the human spirit under the mask while deconstructing the code, as it already was, in decreasing engagement. (B-) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/23/22 Full Review Audience Member A fascinating movie that is best watched blind, without knowing what you're about to watch. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Why does wrinkles have a documentary? The only sole reason I watched this film is because everybody at my school saw it and I saw it and it sucked. Don't see the appeal for wrinkles. Hope wrinkles doesn't come to my house now so if I offend you wrinkles I apologize. It's not your fault, it's the movie makers fault. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Dave M While it's quite different from its trailer's since it's not really a horror documentary itself, it's quite entertaining and it delivers an interesting commentary on modern urban legends Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/26/20 Full Review Audience Member I rarely quit movies half way through. I fast forwarded through the entire second half and didn't miss a thing. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Well...i think its kinda distubing when he was by the kids bed but still a good movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews
