The Davisons, an upper-class family, are extremely wealthy -- but also estranged. In an attempt to mend their broken family ties, Aubrey (Barbara Crampton) and Paul (Rob Moran) Davison decide to celebrate their wedding anniversary by inviting their four children and their children's significant others to their weekend estate. The celebration gets off to a rocky start, but when crossbow-wielding assailants in animal masks suddenly attack, the Davisons must pull together or die.

Given its title, you can be forgiven for assuming that Adam Wingard's home-invasion thriller will be just another blood-soaked body-count flick. But You're Next is better than that. A lot better.

Inicialmente já me simpatizei de cara, introdução curta, e mortes indiscriminadas, com número suficiente de personagens para deleitarmos com o banho de sangue, não é lá muito original, mas para os amentes inveterados de terror, qualquer chacina alegra as noites de sábado a noite, na falta de um love... A máscara dá um ar bizarro, e a besta (arco flecha) maior alcance, a comicidade está nas entrelinhas, nas caras e bocas, faltou um humor mais acido para apimentar adorável plot twist e desfecho...

The main girl was cool, and I liked the concept of the plot, but the execution was a little... Boring? It wasn't scary and a lot of the deaths were caused by the characters just making really dumb decisions which, I know, is sort of a staple in horror movies, but dang, these were especially dumb decisions.

They say that family dinners are bloody, but this film takes that bloodshed up to eleven! As a dysfunctional family reunites for a gathering, they are hunted by masked assassins who pick them off one by one, with one guest proving herself to be a lot more resourceful then the others. A funny slasher flick with some impressive acting and lots of gore, this is one comedy you do not want to miss!
