Seth S As someone who didn't read the source material I thought the show was a great ride. It does bore and lose the viewer in may aspects but I think plot is well enough defined to keep you watching. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/09/24 Full Review Brady L Ugly, boring, poorly cast, poorly acted, poorly written, and outright dumb. The first episode sets up a decent sci-fi mystery, but it all goes downhill from there. The characters are boring and robotic, the dialogue is so generic it’s painful, and the actual plot holds no weight or meaning. There is no natural development of the story or characters, everything is seemingly random, or completely irrelevant and a complete waste of screen time. SPOILERS AHEAD The aliens have a microscopic super computer that’s capable of hacking into every screen on earth at the same time, completely changing the perception of the entire sky across the globe, projecting images onto humans’ retinas, and remote controlling automated cars. They are already hell bent on taking over earth and destroying humanity, but the only way they can think of to do this is to mess with a few scientific research results until they arrive in person in 400 years? What???? The entire plot falls apart if you give it even the slightest amount of thought, and unfortunately the show is not anywhere near entertaining enough for me to buy into it.
