Dexter of course is one of the highlights of his own show, a morally gray character but usuallly very likeable struggling with his double idetity and especially his longing for human connection, the supporting cast of characters is also top notch, with my personal favourite being Rita for her heartwarming relationship with Dexter and her solid character development in the first season. The plot is also a stong point giving the viewer a dark but complex mystery and giving a hard hittng conclusion with the reveal of the ice truck killer.
