Scott Meslow GQ Magazine [UK] Final Fantasy XIV: Dad of Light is refreshingly different: A TV series that understands that video games can actually be a net positive on a person's life. Oct 25, 2017 Full Review Andrew Webster The Verge Dad of Light has a strange premise, one that could have easily led to a throwaway piece of product placement-fueled television. Instead, it tackles both parenting and the relationships we create through games with a rare degree of empathy and respect Oct 25, 2017 Full Review Allegra Frank Polygon Look past that awkward name it's been graced with, because Dad of Light is short, sweet and a total joy to watch. Oct 25, 2017 Full Review Jesse Schedeen IGN Movies As long as you're not expecting a grand, ambitious extension of the Final Fantasy XIV universe, Dad of Light is just charming enough to warrant a binge. Rated: 6.8/10 Oct 25, 2017 Full Review Joyce Slaton Common Sense Media Marketing messages never went down so sweetly as they do in this genuine oddity, a Japanese-language mashup of family-love drama and role-playing game quest. Rated: 3/5 Oct 4, 2017 Full Review Foong Woei Wan The Straits Times (Singapore) Small, fluffy and special - like a perfect snowflake - this comedy comes from a place of love and little judgment. Rated: 3.5/5 Sep 22, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews

Hank M I thought it was really sweet. Also FF14 rocks.
