Brian Lowry Variety Viewers can debate which images are the most jaw-dropping, but as assembled, it's a major achievement, making glorious use of aerial and time-lapse photography to bring epic grandeur to each chapter. Apr 10, 2019 Full Review James Poniewozik TIME Magazine While it didn't have an explicitly environmentalist argument, by showing the planet's complex weave of life and natural processes, it was possibly TV's most moving work of eco-tainment yet. Apr 10, 2019 Full Review Ben Pobjie Sydney Morning Herald It's all just so beautiful you could cry, and really makes you feel like you'll never know enough about the world you've landed on. Apr 10, 2019 Full Review R.L. Shaffer IGN Movies Creating a series of this scope and scale is almost impossible to measure. The amount of work that went into Planet Earth is incredible... And the dazzling footage unveiled here is breathtaking, honest, and beautiful in so many ways. Rated: 9/10 Apr 10, 2019 Full Review Rob Vaux Collider The sheer variety on display ensure that the series never wears out its welcome, and it's surprising how quickly one gets wrapped up in the narratives on display. Apr 10, 2019 Full Review Jason Zingale Bullz-Eye.com Planet Earth is perhaps the greatest nature documentary ever made. Even someone like me, who hasn't seen many nature films (let alone one I actually enjoyed), can appreciate the once-in-a-lifetime experience that the miniseries delivers. kyle e Wow I am speechless! "Planet Earth" is in one word mesmerising, gorgeously shot and informative. David Attenborough clearly knows his stuff, and delivers with precision and interest that really does compel the viewer. The series is very very well researched, some of the stuff I didn't know before watching, and the music is stunning. But what made the series such pleasure was the gorgeous filming, the camera-work was skillful and perfectly captured the adorable and dangerous animals and their colourful habitats. Not to mention the extreme conditions of the mountains, deserts and rainforests. I sat in awe at everything I saw on screen. Overall, as my sister does-she is a nature lover you see, I love this series. It was such joy to watch, it does for nature and our planet as "Walking with Dinosaurs" did for dinosaurs. One of the easiest 10/10s I've made. Bethany Cox Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Eitan D An amazing series that shows an array of animals in their habitat, explains a lot of things and generally opens the eyes of people who don't know much about the nature Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/17/21 Full Review Read all reviews
