Brothers Jason and Travis Kelce faced off against each other during Super Bowl 57 in 2023. But on the night before the big game, their mom, Donna, met them during a live broadcast to bring her boys a treat.

Clad in a jersey that was half Philadelphia Eagles and half Kansas City Chiefs (her sons’ respective teams), Donna handed each of her boys a plastic container of her homemade chocolate chip cookies — a ritual she has shared with them since long before the Super Bowl.

Donna told NBC Sports that she “always” brings cookies to her sons’ games, adding that their friends and teammates want them, too. “It’s just love from home,” says the mom of two.

On Oct. 6, 2023, Donna visited the TODAY team and brought some treats for the anchors, who couldn’t stop gushing over the warm, freshly baked snack. Al Roker called them “amazing,” Hoda Kotb said they were “awesome” and Craig Melvin told her that instead of her then-new partnership with snack brand Kind, “You should be selling these!”

After the show, Jason teased his mom with a post on X that read, “Mom, you don’t have to bring cookies everywhere you go,” tagging both Donna and TODAY. But lucky for us, she did.

From melting the butter in a microwave to mixing two types of flour and adding in a not-so-secret spice, these cookies definitely have the Kelce touch. She also features two types of chocolate in her recipe, just like that mash-up jersey that shows love to both of her boys.
