Lenny Kravitz and Zoë Kravitz share a lot more than just their genes.
Just one day after Zoë stepped out in New York wearing a pair of blue rubber flip-flops from The Row, her father Lenny offered his own take on the beachy shoe. The singer was spotted in Paris, driving off in a gold car with a beautiful mystery woman (as rockstars do). But instead of his usual leather-heavy look, the elder Kravitz opted for a denim-forward outfit, accented with some equally laidback shoes: a pair of black leather flip-flops.
Lenny donned a gray tee, which he wore underneath a blue jean jacket and tucked into a pair of thigh-hugging flair jeans. His accessories—oversized, bug-eyed sunglasses and a brown leather belt with a large gold buckle, gave off the aura of a rockstar-off-duty. Perhaps a bit out of place in the streets of Paris, but this outfit would definitely kill it in Topanga Canyon.
Zoë, meanwhile, took a different approach to styling her thong sandals. With her oversized red-and-blue plaid flannel, charcoal wide-legged pants, and blue bucket hat, the actor offered a more nonchalant take to her father’s rockstar style.
So, while Zoë and Lenny Kravitz definitely seem to share a love of the flip-flop, the father-daughter duo successfully avoided the dreaded matchy-matchy territory. That said, we’d love to see a family photo, flip-flops included.
