[Baz] I'm directing the shot.

It's awesome. We love it.

Gimme punk. Let's see punk.

More aggression.

Yeah, yeah.

I just got directed by Baz Luhrman. [laughs]

[upbeat music]

Hi Vogue. Today I am going to the Vogue World Show.

It is my first ever runway show today.

Come on in and see how I get ready.

[bright music]

The first thing that I do when I get up in the morning,

I usually brush my teeth, wash my face,

put a little bit of makeup on,

but nothing too heavy for things like this.

I'll do a little concealer.

Just 'cause I have 23 year old skin.

It's not always the nicest to you.

It always is the way that right before

one of these gigs and things, my skin always breaks out.

It's always like perfect three days before

and then breaks out.

Or in this case, I had to fly here

and so I have airplane skin.

It's terrible.

I haven't used eyeliner in years, I always use eyeshadow.

And I just put it in the corners of my eyes.

It just, like, makes my eyes look a little bit bigger,

I think.

And I honestly just don't like shoving a pencil in my eye

so early in the morning.

And it's just a really easy way to make your eyes pop.

[bright music]

I think an earring adds something to any look.

I really like doing kind of mismatched.

Today I'm just gonna do one

'cause I think it's kind of funky.

Saves me having to take off a bunch of jewelry

when I get there as well.

And I love layering up my necklaces.

We're gonna do two today.

I think it adds a lot of interest to the outfit

to have a couple, so I do that.

And I'm a silver person so I like the silver

and the little sparkle and yeah,

that's the jewelry that I'm wearing.

I came across the Vogue open casting on TikTok.

I was seeing some videos about it

and I reached out to my agents at Ford.

They were like, Yeah, go for it,

you should definitely apply for this.

And so I kind of sent my application out

into what felt like the ether

and I was waiting and I was waiting and I was like,

there's no way this is gonna work out.

I was in complete denial

that I had any chance of ever making it.

And I got an email one morning that I had gotten in

and I was so excited and I was out in my room at home

and I ran into the house and no one was home. [laughs]

So I sat on the couch

very patiently waiting for my parents

to get back from walking our dog.

They came in the door

and I was like, Guys, I have some news.

And then I made them listen to Madonna's Vogue

like three times.

I am non-binary and that's a unique perspective

in the modeling world.

It's kind of coming onto the scene as an option

that you can be as a model.

They were looking for diversity and new perspectives

and I think that that definitely is a new perspective

that I have to offer.

[gentle music]

All right, guys. It is now...

Oh, it's 7:00 AM. We gotta get going.

Grab a bite to eat before the show

'cause my call time's at 08:30.

A lot of people have asked me, like,

what my dream designers are

and I'm like, any designer, anyone.

It's kind of weird.

Like three days ago I was working as a waitress

in a restaurant and now I am at Vogue World.

I feel like I'm living in two different worlds a little bit.

[gentle music]

Thank you so much.

I love bacon.

I think there is this kind of idea

that models don't eat anything, which I think is ridiculous.

It ends up being like a 12 to 14 hour work day

when you're doing these things and you got to eat for that.

And I'm not gonna not eat my side of bacon.

I need my side of bacon.

I think my advice to aspiring models is just be yourself.

I feel like a long time ago there was an era of modeling

where they were looking for one rote person, one body,

one face, one everything, and it's really changed now.

They're looking for people with a personality,

with a history, with a story to tell.

And so emphasizing that, I think, is really important

and just seizing every opportunity that comes your way.

[bright music]

I feel like a lot of people

talk about how it's not as glamorous as it might seem,

but getting your makeup done and your hair done

surrounded by a bunch of models,

it definitely is very glamorous.

[bright music]

Hello.

Hello.

How are you?

I'm doing well. How are you?

Are you having the best time?

I am.

You look amazing. I love the lips.

Oh, thank you. Are you getting makeup soon?

I'm about to get my eyebrows bleached. Yay.

Oh my God.

Can we talk about that for a second?

We're doing a diary of a model for Vogue. What?

No, it's insane.

Crazy.

It's crazy.

The funny thing is, all those girls

that I've been watching on Diary of a Model,

I saw so many of them out there,

and I'm just like, I know your life story.

I know, I know.

I'm like, I've seen you, I know who you are. [laughs]

[upbeat music]

♪ Happy birthday dear ♪

I've been getting my makeup done

for about, what, two hours now?

We were trying to figure out what to do with the brows.

There was a scary moment

where I thought they might bleach them,

but they're not gonna bleach them.

For the show there's three sections.

I am in the punk section, which I believe is going first.

I'm wearing Vivienne Westwood, which is very exciting.

I love Vivienne Westwood.

Yeah, and I'm wearing just, like, leggings

and a little top and a kilt style skirt

with these big white kind of distressed, chunky boots.

[upbeat music]

We're doing a flock of seagull style hair look on me today.

They're modeling it off of this wig.

I don't know if you can see it.

They're flattering my bangs and I keep getting distracted.

But yeah, no, it's really crazy here.

There's a bunch of people.

It's honestly, it's a little bit overwhelming.

[upbeat music]

[Organisor] Diavionne's gonna show you your club.

Awesome. Thank you.

Hi.

[Organisor] Just have a load of fun.

[Mars] Alright. Is it smiley or not smiley?

[Organisor] It's smiley.

Okay. It's smiley.

Okay, cool. Alright, thank you.

I'll come this way.

I'm gonna start over through a door over there

and walk basically through the audience all the way up

and then cross paths with another model.

And then one of the dancers is gonna guide me off the stage

and back out through the doors.

So it's just like a quick loop around the room basically.

Hi!

Nice to see you.

[Mars] Good to see you.

Thank you so much for being here.

Oh yeah, of course.

We don't--

You gotta get backstage, We're gonna start a run.

Okay, let's go.

[upbeat music]

We just finished rehearsing the bows on stage,

the finale part of the show.

We're gonna run it again I think in just a minute.

And then I'm assuming we'll go for outfits

and touch-ups and everything.

It's all a little bit chaotic

so I don't really know what's going on.

[upbeat music]

[Speaker] Please take your seats.

Vogue World London is about to begin.

[upbeat music]

Going to the finale. Wish me luck.

[upbeat music]

[audience applauding]

Bye Vogue.

Thank you so much for following me for my diary of a model.
