Calling all Jollof rice lovers! The Jollof Festival 2024 is back, bigger, and bolder than ever before and they're inviting Elites and a guest to partake in the fun.
Get ready for a day-long celebration of this iconic West African dish, a battle for Jollof supremacy, and a vibrant cultural experience.
What to Expect:
The Jollof Wars: Witness chefs from various West African countries compete for the title of "Jollof Rice Champion." Sample their unique takes on Jollof rice and cast your vote for the most delicious contender!
A Feast for the Senses: Explore a diverse range of Jollof rice vendors, each showcasing their regional specialties. Prepare to tantalize your taste buds with an explosion of flavors and aromas.
Cultural Immersion: Immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of West African culture. Enjoy music, dance performances, art, and activities that celebrate West-African heritage and culture.
A Fun-Filled Day: The Jollof Festival isn't just about food! Participate in family-friendly activities, engage in friendly competition, and create lasting memories at this vibrant community event.
We're giving away two (2) general admission tickets to the Jollof Festival at 7th West to randomly selected Yelp Elites for this July 13, 2024 event.
Entry period is June 1 - July 1, 2024. Winners will be selected on July 2, 2024 and contacted via Yelp email.
Please note that the giveaway winner may not post reviews on Yelp's website about experiences/items that are paid for or included in the prize.
- No purchase or payment necessary to enter.
- To be eligible, participants must (1) be at least 21 years old; (2) have a free registered Yelp account with a real username and real profile photo; and (3) a 2024 Yelp Elite.
- To enter, participants must RSVP on this page. Only one (1) entry per person.
- Entry period: June 1, 2024 to July 1, 2024.
- Prize: Two (2) general admission tickets to the Jollof Festival on July 13, 2024 at 7th West. Approximate retail value: ~$20.
- Twenty-five (25) winners will be picked at random and notified via email on July 2, 2024.
- A participant may not win more than one prize.
