norriskeel still funny after all these years my step son actually sat through the whole thing amazing Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/11/22 Full Review Dale R A selfish Incan emperor named Kuzco, is turned into a llama as a result of a coup led by his advisor Yzma. The self-aware and meta humor in this movie is great! David Spade and John Goodman both do a good job playing the traditional roles that they play. Eartha Kitt and Patrick Warburton are amazing as Yzma and Kronk, the two antagonists. The story is straightforward and somewhat predictable. The animation is good and serves the comedic format of the film and story, but I wouldn’t put it in the same league as The Lion King or The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Considering the major road bumps this film went through in production, I’m greatly pleased with how well it turned out! Sting was brought in as the music creator for this film and his wife filmed a documentary, The Sweatbox, that really highlights the creation of the film. I do think this movie is worth your time. The voice acting was really good and while the main villain was portrayed well and entertaining, I couldn't entirely take her and her "right hand man" seriously and their threat toward Emperor Kuzco was mostly played as a joke. There are some slightly better Disney films where the villains were a lot more menacing and dark. However other than that, the film's animation was also well done and it's an easy/simple and quick Disney movie to watch.
