Ben Kenigsberg Time Out Rated: 3/5 Nov 17, 2011 Full Review Toddy Burton Austin Chronicle The animation strives for 1950s sci-fi retro, but the result is that everyone looks like a plastic anim doll. Rated: 2/5 Apr 14, 2007 Full Review Stephen Garrett Time Out What might have been a bland Back to the Future rip-off suddenly hums with a screwball sensibility chockablock with singing gangster frogs and evil bowler hats. Rated: 4/6 Apr 7, 2007 Full Review Carson Timar ButteredPopcorn Both one of Disney's most moving and entertaining efforts, the film is one of the rare near-flawless outings for the studio. Dale R This is Disney Animation Studios’ second attempt at computer animation and it is an improvement over the first. The characters are better designed as is the world in which they inhabit. The story focuses on Lewis, an orphan inventor, and his meeting of a time traveler named Wilbur Robinson. Any story involving time travel requires an extreme attention to detail. While this movie has a few details they missed, they did well on the details that matter to the plot. There is a section in the middle of the movie that is reduced to a series of gags that are designed to introduce the Robinsons, but it really just slows down the film. There is a unique sense of humor to this film that I do appreciate and got a few good laughs out of me. Not to mention a few lines that are very quotable. They do slam the theme of the movie in your face over and over, and that gets annoying after awhile, but the quote at the end does bring it home very well. Not everyone will enjoy this film, but I did and maybe you will too. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/07/24 Full Review Jack N Underrated movie with incredible soundtrack. Worth a watch, for sure. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/23/24 Full Review Audience Member Literally NO plot. Just a bunch of random events and weird characters doing weird random things. It’s slightly entertaining though Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/22/24 Full Review Ryland C I thought it was okay. It just didn’t really feel like a Disney movie it felt more…………… Dreamworks. I can still understand why a ton of people really love it but for me, it’s just fine. A solid 6/10. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/21/24 Full Review Chael B An unlikely jem of our childhoods. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/16/24 Full Review Jowell T this is a underrated masterpiece a nice story cool characters and a good villain Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/05/24 Full Review Read all reviews
