Chipmunk Vice is an episode of the Alvin and the Chipmunks series.
Plot[]
While Alvin is sick with the flu, he discovers that he is missing a prized baseball card. Forced to rest, he dreams that he is a slick detective. Detective Alvin drives around looking for The Shadow. The Lieutenant summons him and throws Alvin off the force with Tub quitting soon after. Alvin and Tub travel the town looking for leads but only find the Lieutenant who had a meeting with The Shadow. He puts Alvin and Tub back on the force to keep an eye on them and they chase The Shadow to his private yacht. Once aboard, Detective Alvin finds his card but loses it getting away. Alvin wakes and discovers his card under his bed.
