🇫🇷 French referee François Letexier will officiate at the #EURO2024 final between Spain and England in Berlin: The 35-year-old Frenchman, an international referee since 2017, has already officiated at 65 official UEFA matches. At this year’s EURO final tournament, he refereed three games, including the Round of 16 match Spain-Georgia and two group stage matches Denmark-Serbia and Croatia-Albania. 💚 One more round of funding for the #EURO2024 climate fund! 30 more amateur clubs in Germany have received a share of almost €700,000 for sustainable infrastructure, helping them improve their operations relating to: 🔌 Energy 💦 Water 🗑️ Waste 🚆 Mobility The final wave adds up to a total of €7m fund, with 190 amateur clubs and 21 regional associations across Germany benefiting from it to invest in sustainable infrastructure. Every four years, the tournament generates significant revenue through: 🤝 Sponsorship 📺 Media rights 🎫 Tickets and hospitality ⚽ Licensing Most of the net revenues are then reinvested into developing the game in Europe through the 𝐇𝐚𝐭𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤 programme, making it the 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝'𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝. Following their elimination from #EURO2024 last night, Romania left their Munich dressing room spotless with a touching letter to their German hosts. ✉️ The message reads: UEFA EURO 2024 was one of the most important football experiences in our history and we were glad it was Germany who provided the stage. Every match, every emotion, every experience brought us together around the magic of football. We leave Germany knowing we gave everything for Romania and are grateful for everything we experienced here. It was an honour to be a part of the great European football family.
