First Boston page

[edit]

Now that Credit Suisse has dropped the First Boston name from its investment banking division, I would propose getting rid of this page. The First Boston page, which covers the history of the First Boston investment bank from its founding in 1932 through the ten years it was known as Credit Suisse First Boston, should be the main page.

If anyone feels strongly about keeping some of the information on this page, it can be moved to Credit Suisse under the heading Investment Banking Division.

Now it is done.

It is now called Credit Suisse Securities.

[edit]

They are now called Credit Suisse Securites (USA) LLC. Check out this site: http://www.ny.frb.org/newsevents/news/markets/2006/an060117.html.

Merge with Credit Suisse

[edit]

Since 2006 Credit Suisse has dropped the First Boston name from its investment banking division. The First Boston page, which covers the history of the First Boston investment bank from its founding in 1932 through the ten years it was known as Credit Suisse First Boston, should cover this topic and/or this content could be moved to Credit Suisse under the heading Investment Banking Division.--KeithbobTalk 14:02, 16 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"High fliers"

[edit]

A dispassionate phrasing should be used, not meaningless hypester talk like "high fliers." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.127.52.157 (talk) 09:07, 17 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
