Ahead of the Los Angeles premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, Lionsgate has announced that parts of the premiere have been canceled after Friday’s terror attacks in Paris.

The stars of the final Hunger Games film, some of which was filmed in France, will no longer do red carpet interviews at the premiere.

“Out of respect for the very recent events in Paris, we have decided to modify our red carpet and we will not conduct interviews at Monday’s Mockingjay 2 premiere,” a representative from Lionsgate said in a statement to EW and PEOPLE. “We will proceed with the rest of the event as planned in honor of the incredible fans who have always supported our films with such passion.”

After a series of terror attacks in Paris killed at least 129 people, a number of music and film events have been canceled, including all press events and the Sunday premiere for Steven Spielberg’s film Bridge of Spies. The Monday premiere of Natalie Portman’s Jane Got a Gun, which is being distributed by the French company Mars Distribution, was also canceled, as were all interviews for the film. U2 also canceled their Paris concerts this weekend, one of which was planned to be filmed for an HBO special, and the Foo Fighters called off the rest of their tour dates.

Mockingjay – Part 2, which stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Liam Hemsworth, hits theaters on Friday.
